Assigning coordinates

Coordinates

In DrufelCNC, coordinates are displayed in the center of the main window.

DrufelCNC supports 6 axes - X, Y, Z, A, B, C. You can adjust the display of the number of axes in Settings. To reset the X-axis, press the button:

To reset the rest of the coordinates, click on the similar buttons.
To set your own X-axis, click the numeric value of the X-axis.

In the field that appears, enter the desired value. To reset all coordinates, click on the button:

In order to move the tool to zero coordinates, click on the button:
In order to go to coordinates X0 and Y0, click on the button:

DrufelCNC supports millimeters and inches. The default system of units is millimeters. To set the units of measurement in inches, click on the button:

To set the system of units in millimeters, click on the button:

Machine coordinates are the actual coordinates of your axes. These coordinates are used to define the boundaries and dimensions of the vehicle. If machine coordinates are activated for display, they are highlighted in green.

Work coordinates refer to machine coordinates. These are the coordinates at which g-code is executed by default. If work coordinates are activated for display, they are highlighted in green.
